Wedgwood Alpine Pink Oyster Shell Compote with base plate in beautiful, like new condition.  The base plate is 8 inches long by 6 inches wide. Assembled, the compote stands 5 inches tall. The bowl itself is quite generous and will hold lots of sauce and gravies, even vegetables and relishes. Made of bone china the compote is glazed and will be a beautiful addition to any table.
 
 
This bowl is from the Mickey Hightower collection. Collecting Wedgwood since 1980, Hightower also served as President of the Wedgwood Internatioal Seminar.
