PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
We make every effort to provide numerous photographs and accurate descriptions of our
merchandise. Please note that color may differ slightly from how it appears on your screen due
to varying monitor/camera settings. If you have questions or would like more photographs,
please contact us .
DATES
We strive to accurately determine the era or date of our antique merchandise. However, there
are many variables involved in doing so. We are not professional appraisers and we encourage
our customers to perform their own research as to value before purchase. As these are antique
items all our merchandise is sold without warrant and As-Is.
PURCHASING
To make a purchase, please contact us at Wedgwood.Whimsies@gmail.com or by phone. We
will place your item on a pending status while we finalize payment and shipping arrangements.
If you decide not to purchase, the item will become available to other collectors.
PAYMENT
Currently, sales are limited to the US only and payment is in US dollars. Payment may be made
by PayPal or check. Your item will not ship until check payment has cleared our bank. We
collect 6% sales tax for sales in Virginia.
RETURNS
We offer our online merchandise sales on approval; with a two week return period. If you intend
to return the item, we ask that you notify us within 7 days of receipt. Return packing and
postage costs are the responsibility of the buyer for a safe return shipment.
SECURITY
All of our items are labelled to assist us with inventory and cataloguing. This also allows us to
confirm our merchandise when we accept a return. Do not remove these labels until you are
satisfied with your new antique and know you will keep the purchase. They are removed easily
with soap and water or you can leave the label on as part of the provenance.
DAMAGE
In the unlikely event any damage has occurred during shipping please notify us as soon as
possible and within two days of receipt. All items we sell will include insurance and the costs
are included in your total shipping fee.
The insurance claims process can be long and demanding and will require your participation.
You must retain all boxes and packaging materials until the claim is settled as the carrier may
request to see the packaging. Take pictures of the package before you open it, to show the
condition of the box and the areas of damage. Also take pictures while you unbox the item and
photograph all damaged areas. The insurance company will require you to sign and submit an
affidavit. The claims process takes a minimum of at least two weeks, so please be patient.
PRIVACY POLICY
We respect you and your privacy. Wedgwood & Whimsies has to collect some personal
information in order to fulfill your order, but we will never sell, rent or trade that information
with any third party.
